Torquay Group's three UK companies, Solar Gates, MVIS and P&D Specialist Services, as well as Australian Bartco, have announced a leadership change as the group moves into its next phase of development.
After two years as Group CEO, Scott Paton will be stepping down from his role. Scott joined the group at an important time with a clear brief, to bring a complimentary group of businesses together and establish the foundations for future growth. Over the past two years he has played a key role in strengthening collaboration across the companies and helping shape the group as it stands today.

As the group now moves forward, Neil Sampson will take the role of CEO. Neil explains,"Scott has played an important role over the past two years in bringing the business within the group together and helping create the foundations for what comes next. On behalf of everyone across Torquay Group, I'd like to thank Scott for the contributions he has made.
“As we move forward, our focus is building on those foundations and continuing to bring together the strengths of the business across the group. There is a huge amount of capability within our teams, and I'm excited about what we can achieve together in the years ahead."
Neil has led Solar Gates for two decades and more recently has taken the helm at P&D Specialist Services. He has been closely involved in the innovation, creativity and adaptability that Solar Gates has become so well known for across the industry. Neil's role will be to embed those qualities of practical innovation, problem solving and a willingness to do things differently throughout the Torquay Group of companies and drive the group forward to an innovative future.
The businesses within the group will continue to work closely together, combining their expertise to support customers across the highways, infrastructure and construction sectors.
